A list of expeditions, immersions and adventures that have shaped my path:
Tashunka Baptiste Dulaar

2008–2009
Learning about edible and medicinal wild plants with an herbalist in the Drôme region, France.
2009–2010
One-year horseback journey (3,500 km) between France and Spain.
Living in the wild, diet based on edible wild plants.
2011–2012
First long solo journey through the wild regions of Scandinavia (Norway, Sweden, Finland, Estonia).
Continuation of the journey to Russia and the Ural Mountains.
Several months spent at the Shad Tchup Ling monastery on Mount Kachkanar.
2012–2020
Foundation of Vivre la Forêt (France).
More than 50 guided group immersions over eight years (Massif Central, Alps, Jura, Corsica), focused on edible wild plants and autonomous living in nature, bivouacking, primitive living skills and hiking.
2013
Winter expedition on snowshoes in Pallas–Yllästunturi National Park (Finland) for 3 weeks with Christoph.
2014
Journeys in the Leningrad Oblast and Karelia (Russia).
Beginning of my “Russian life”, spending half of the year there for more than five years.
One-month immersion in Estonia focused on fishing and gathering with Christoph and Geromine.
2015
Living with Pomor fishing communities near the White Sea (Onega region, Russia).
2016
Crossing the Southern Ural Mountains up to the pre-polar region (Khanty-Mansiysk region).
November–December
First collective one-month wilderness experience in Finnish Lapland (fishing, natural shelter building).
2017
Two-month expedition across the Pre-Polar Urals with Tobias, Christoph and Emilien, followed by a canoe descent to the Arctic Ocean.
November–December
Second collective one-month wilderness experience in Finnish Lapland (fishing, natural shelter building).
2018
Solo winter crossing of the Ural Mountains on skis.
Autumn in the Pre-Polar Urals and stay with reindeer herders in the Beloyarsky region.
November–December
Third collective one-month wilderness experience in Finnish Lapland (fishing, natural shelter building).
2019
Autonomous summer expedition across the Pre-Polar Urals with Joffrey, Jérémy and Alexis Lopez.
Construction of a traditional log cabin in the forests of the Haut-Jura with Charlotte, using surrounding spruce trees and traditional tools (axe, hand saw, adze, marking compass).
2020
One-month wilderness expedition in Norway (fishing and gathering) with Didier.
2021
Three-month immersion in Scandinavia (fishing, gathering, cultural learning).
2022
One-month ski expedition in Lapland with Yann (subsistence based on fishing).
2023
Journey to Yamal with my partner and my son.
Life with Khanty reindeer herders and travel in the Berezovo region.
2025
Two-month fully autonomous expedition in Siberia with Pehuen Grotti.
